i realize that i haven't posted for a while. i also realize that i haven't blogged about any weddings or actual photo sessions of any kind since late august. but i want you to know there is a lot coming. i am about to unleash a varitebal platter of awesomeness unlike anything you have seen on any blog, anywhere (this may be a slight over exaggeration). anyhow, i am back from Italy. i am renewed and energized and can't wait to show you all that i have been up to. but first things first. i shot over 3000 photos during my twelve dats in Italy, but one stuck out in my head and so i went straight to it and pulled it out without even looking at anything else. so this shall serve as my italy antipasta if you will. i have put a texture that i shot while in Venice, hope you like it.

for as long as i can remember i have had a recurring dream. in my dream, i am in a book store, browsing the titles. it's one of those slow dreams where everything seems to take a lifetime. in my dream i look from a book and just down the aisle is this woman with curly blonde hair and green eyes. our eyes meet and she gives me this smile that gives me that feeling...you know the one where your heart is beating so fast your sure you will have a heart attack, you get a little dizzy and...that feeling...from a smile. than i wake up. or at least i used to wake up. one day, i had this dream again but it was in church and not a book store, but it was that woman with that smile and i haven't awakened since. i married my wife 5 years ago this saturday and i have been living a dream. she is all that i could ever ask for in a wife and mother for my son and i can honestly say that i love her more today than i did when i married her and that makes me smile. Charlene, i love you with all that i am. here's a few photos from our story. here we are waiting for our reception announcement.
look at this gorgeous woman. of all the brides i have photographed, she is the most beautiful (sorry ladies).
photos by Alex Abercrombie anyhow, to celebrate our 5 year anniversary we will be spending 10 days in Tuscany Italy. Cortona Italy to be specific. so if you need me this is where i will be.
staying here.

note: all wedding photos of us taken by Alex Abercrombie, my mentor and dear friend. |
